MediaJunkie uses Nightbell, run by Nightbell, Inc. of Houston, Texas, to answer visitors on its website. This page covers what you send on MediaJunkie’s page.

Who answers

MediaJunkie’s AI agent — not a person.

What is collected

Only what a conversation and a request need:

  • What you type to the assistant, and what it answers.
  • Details you choose to give, like your name, phone and email.
  • Where your visit came from: the page, the ad click and campaign tags in its address, and Google Analytics ids.
  • A one-way hash of your IP address, used to limit abuse. Nightbell never stores the address itself.
  • A session cookie that keeps your conversation together.

Who sees it

MediaJunkie sees the details you leave and your conversation with its assistant.

Nightbell runs the page for MediaJunkie. These companies process the data for Nightbell, for the purpose shown:

  • Google Cloud: hosting, and the AI model that writes the answers.
  • Supabase: the database.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: the check that you are a person.
  • Resend: email.
  • Brevo: text messages.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads: measurement, on pages where the business has turned them on.
  • OpenPanel, run by Nightbell on servers in the United States (Hostinger): visit analytics, and visit recordings where the business turns them on.
  • Microsoft and Calendly: calendars and email, only for a business that connects its own account.
  • Stripe: Nightbell’s own billing, and payments for a business that connects its own account.
  • Tools a business connects to its assistant: what a visitor tells the assistant, when the assistant needs it to answer, only for a business that connects one.

How long it is kept

Nightbell measures visits to MediaJunkie’s website for MediaJunkie: the pages viewed, for how long, the site you came from, your device type and your rough location, worked out from your IP address. It does not set cookies for this, and it keeps these records for up to 13 months.

Nightbell’s own measurement does not keep your IP address. If software on MediaJunkie’s website sends an IP address to these records itself, that address is kept with them.

After 30 days without a visit, Nightbell deletes an anonymous visitor’s conversations, what the assistant remembers about them, and their session.

MediaJunkie also keeps recordings of how visitors move through its website (pages, scrolling and clicks) for up to 30 days. Nothing you type into a form is recorded.

Details you left for MediaJunkie, as a lead or a booking, stay with MediaJunkie. When your session is deleted, the record of where your visit came from is removed from them.

Your choices

Ask the assistant to forget you, and it deletes your conversations with MediaJunkie and what it remembers about you.

The visits linked to your conversations are deleted from Nightbell’s visit records too; backup copies are gone within 15 days.

To have the details you left deleted, leave MediaJunkie a message with its assistant.
