What we collect

Only what a conversation and a request need:

• What you type to an assistant, and what it answers.
• Details you choose to give: your name, phone, email, business and website.
• Where your visit came from: the page, the ad click and campaign tags in its address, and Google Analytics ids.
• On nightbell.ai, an anonymous record of each visit: the site you came from, the device type, the rough area an ad click came from, and which parts of the page you looked at and used, never what you type.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used to limit abuse. We never store the address itself.
• A session cookie that keeps your conversation together.

Why

To answer you. To pass your details to the business you asked, which on nightbell.ai is us. To build a demo you asked for. To keep the service safe. And to measure which ads bring people who ask for a demo.

Who processes it for us

These companies process data on our behalf, for the purpose shown:

• Google Cloud: hosting, and the AI model that writes the answers.
• Supabase: the database.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: the check that you are a person.
• Resend: email.
• Brevo: text messages.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: measurement, on pages where the business has turned them on.
• Microsoft and Calendly: calendars and email, only for a business that connects its own account.
• Stripe: payments, only for a business that connects its own account.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps your conversation together. On nightbell.ai, Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and to tell us which ads worked. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

After 30 days without a visit, we delete an anonymous visitor’s conversations, what the assistant remembers about them, and their session.

On nightbell.ai we also keep an anonymous record of each visit: the page, the ad click and campaign tags in its address, the site you came from, the device type, the rough area the ad click came from, and which parts of the page you looked at and used (never what you type). We keep it for up to 13 months, and remove the ad click and analytics ids from it after 90 days.

Details you left for a business, as a lead or a booking, stay with that business. When your session is deleted, the record of where your visit came from is removed from them.

A demo request you send us is kept, with its details, until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

Ask any Nightbell assistant to forget you, and it deletes your conversations and what it remembers about you at once.

Children, and changes

Nightbell is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If this page changes, we post the new version here with its date.
